is dedicated to the use of alternative natural fibers in our clothing.
Currently, Hemp is the focus of our efforts, and Naked also is involved
in efforts involving Bio-diesel and sustainable design.

clothes are made of the highest quality Hemp blended material available.
We know of no other hemp clothing company that produces garments
of better style, comfort and durability as our own.
Social Ethics:
Naked
is among the few Hemp clothing companies that manufacture garments
in the US. We feel it's important to produce our garments as locally
as possible in order to strengthen local economies and not to encourage
abominable foreign labor conditions.
We
have a close and healthy relationship with our sewers who have a
small shop in Seattle, WA. And we do all dyeing and printing by
hand, here in our shop in Bellingham WA, using non toxic garment
dyes only!
We are Fun:
We
aren't much interested in growing our business to make quick profits.
You'd be unlikely to find us at big clothing expose or in a magazine
add. Rather, you might have seen us rolling around in our Bio-diesel
school bus, or seen our garments at some local natural clothing
store.
Naked
Clothing enjoys supporting local artists by giving them the opportunity
to have there art work on our hemp clothing. Every shirt you buy
with a print is supporting an artist. Thank you.
Preserving
the Design:
We
take great care in hand printing these shirts and they will last
a long time. If you follow some simple guidelines for washing them,
the prints will remain vivid even longer.
Wash
inside out in cold water. Tumble dry low. That's it!
About
Naked Clothing:
Naked
Clothing started back in 1994 and simply strived to print the best
quality designs on regular cotton T-shirts. Little did we understand
then all the environmental, and social consequences of printing
on cotton garments sewn in Mexico!
Finally, through many harrowing circumstances, we decided to take
the screen printing business to the next logical step, which obviously
would be using Hemp! Naked Clothing started printing beautiful designs
drawn by local artists on hand dyed, highest quality Hemp T-shirts.
